There is something so special and unique about a winter wedding, you never know what the weather is going to look like from rain or snow, cold or mild. The great thing about winter weddings is they are almost always indoors so that isn’t something you really have to worry about. Kristina + Ryan choose to have their wedding at the beautiful District 28 venue located in the Studio district of Toronto. District 28 happens to be my favourite venue in Toronto! Why do you ask? Well the venue is so roomy and can fit a large or small guest count, the space is completely empty so you can make it your own 100%. Lastly, and my favourite reason the walls are pure white! This is a photographers dream! The photos turn out so well in this space because of these beautiful white walls.
For those of you who don’t know lighting is such an important aspect when it comes to your wedding day. From getting ready all the way to dancing you want to keep how each of your spaces are light and also if there is sufficient lighting sources. Whether that be a window, candles, string lights, etc! Honestly, in most cases when you are doing candles or string lights the more the better. That is the best thing about District 28 is the ability to totally makeup this space as Kristina + Ryan did for their dreamy District 28 Winter Wedding.
I had the opportunity in the fall to document another beautiful wedding here which you can check out here! It was then I fell in love with this unreal space. If you are stuck on where to choose for your wedding venue but would love something customizable, looks great in photos and is local to the GTA then District 28 is your venue.
