Hey! I’m Nicole—a documentary-style Ontario Family Photographer, and more recently, a mom to a sweet and adventurous little girl.

Since becoming a parent 1.5 years ago, my perspective on photography has completely shifted. I now understand—deep in my bones—how fleeting these moments are. How fast the days go, how quickly your baby becomes a toddler, and how the everyday things you take for granted today will someday feel like distant memories.

That’s why I’m passionate as an Ontario Family Photographer about capturing the real stuff: the snuggles, the laughter, the chaos, the quiet, and everything in between.

Why work with me?

As an Ontario Family Photographer I have been capture families and couples in various big moments in their lives for over 8 years now capturing those little moments to the big moments and all the ones in between.

As someone who has always done things a little bit different from eloping on the top of a mountain in Alaska with my partner and letting my dress get absolutely dirty, living in our converted sprinter van for months at a time as I travel across Canada documenting so many incredible couples and families and so much more I believe that your unique family deserves the exact same thing.

I can promise you that you will not be sitting in front of the camera saying cheese for hours on end. Instead we will be doing your favourite activities, exploring your kids favourite spots in the house or playing with their toys, maybe going to catch frogs in the creek or head out on a boat ride at the cottage. Whatever you all love most – that what you should do!

These photos are built around your family’s real life and real rhythm because those create for the best snapshots of this moment in time for you.

That is exactly the point! You want these photos to capture your families truest selves so let them be their best selves, their inner wild child and these photos will be a perfect snapshot of who your family is.

YES! Home is where your heart is and also where your kids are also most comfortable in space they are used to. Choose a space whether its your home, grandparents home, cottage, etc that has meaning and also you will love to have as a backdrop for your photos.

That is completely up to you! Real life > perfect life. Lived-in homes and comfy clothes are absolutely welcomed. It is whatever you feel most comfortable in.
