08 Hardy Lake Provincial Park

A proposal at Hardy Lake Provincial Park is one of my favourite spots! This bridge is tucked far off in the forest but is well worth the hike. It is a floating bridge that sits over Hardy Lake in Muskoka that connects the main land to a little island with the best views of the lake. Whether it is summer, fall or winter you cannot go wrong with a proposal in Muskoka at Hardy Lake Provincial Park!
Eastern Ontario
09 Prince Edward County

Prince Edward Country sits along the coastline of Lake Ontario and is filled with so many amazing little gems. From the popular Sandbanks Provincial Park, the many wineries, the cozy towns there truly is so much to choose from in PEC if you are thinking about proposing here!
10 Bon Echo Provincial Park

Bon Echo Provincial Park is home to the seventh deepest lake in Ontario (Mazinaw Lake) and one of its defining features is the 100 metre high Mazinaw Rock that has over 260 Indigenous pictographs. 11 Port Severn

Port Severn has a ton of beautiful options when thinking about a great place to propose in Ontario. One of them is this cascading waterfall that changes its water flow depending on the season and how much rain has happened recently. Here you can hike on the Canadian Shield, swim in the waterfall or the surrounding lakes, explore through the thick forests, have a bonfire or a picnic and watch the sunset and so much more!

13 Rattlesnake Point

Rattlesnake Point is the famous spot of Shitt's Creek David and Patrick and is also a popular hiking spot for those that live in the Burlington area. It gets some of the best sunsets in the area and you can see as far as Lake Ontario from the point. It is not too far of a walk from the parking lot making it an easy hike to get there. One of the most popular places to visit not only in the Hamilton area but in the Golden Horseshoe is the many waterfalls that can be found throughout the Hamilton area.
