I love how the wedding world is slowly moving away from sticking to traditions. It is so cool to be able to see each couple take on their own wedding and make it their own. That is exactly the case for Katrina and Haleem. They decided to get married on their own a few months before their original set wedding date. So when they reached out to me to change up their photography coverage I was completely happy to do just their portraits and explore the beautiful Rosetta McClain Gardens with them. The day felt very non-stress as her best friend, mother and sister got ready along side her at her house. When we got to Rosetta McClain Gardens, Haleem surprised us and showed up in an Audi R8 which was quite the entrance to make! Katrina and Haleem explored the stunning Rosetta McClain Gardens with me as the sun sparkled through the trees and a warm breeze blew through the trees on this warm October day. Every wedding day has a opps moment throughout the day and as a photographer I often see these and help my couples when need be. When Haleem picked Katrina up his boutonnière rubbed against the side of her dress and to our surprise to left a purple stain on the side of her dress just under her arm! Who would have thought that the flowers would have died the dress. Katrina was so relaxed about it and we knew they would be able to get it out once we left the gardens. After we were done their photos we said our goodbyes and they headed off to a small family reception to celebrate their marriage.
Katrina and Haleem thank you so much for being your best selves and laughing the entire time even when little hiccups arise. I am so excited to share Katrina and Haleems beautiful intimate fall Rosetta McClain Gardens Wedding with you.
