This beautiful snowy Banff Elopement at Tunnel Mountain was a two day elopement with the first day being an adventure session followed by a ceremony and reception surrounded by their closest family and friends and the second day was an hiking elopement out in Spray Lakes which you can check out the blog for here!
Sarah and Jordan both grew up in Ontario but moved to Calgary, Alberta a year prior to their wedding and decided that the Rocky Mountains was the perfect place to host their closest family and friends for their snowy Banff Elopement at Tunnel Mountain. They had friends and family come from all across North America to celebrate these two adventurous souls.
Their day started off at Elk and Avenue Hotel where they got ready separately with the snow gently falling outside in the town of Banff and then Jordan and my partner Chris headed off in one car while Sarah and myself headed off in ours to the Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park where they would do their first look. We made sure that Jordan and Chris were at least 15 minutes ahead of us so the almost newlyweds would not see each other until their first look. We arrived at the Natural Bridge after driving through quite the snowstorm to see the sun begin to come out just in time for their first look.
After an emotional first look we adventured all throughout the Natural Bridge and beyond in Yoho National Park before we had to head back for their ceremony at Tunnel Mountain. Their close friends and family were all bundled up waiting for Sarah to walk down the aisle to meet Jordan at one of the most beautiful ceremony backdrops we had ever seen - Tunnel Mountain.
After their ceremony we headed to their favourite restaurant, Park Distillery, where they had the entire upper floor reserved for their reception. Dinner and drinks at Park Distillery on Banff Avenue are always absolutely delicious and cannot recommend this incredible spot enough if you are ever in the area. After a fun night of drinks and dancing we said goodbye for the night to see them first thing in morning for their second day to hike in Spray Lakes.
Enjoy Sarah and Jordan's first day for their snowy Banff elopement at Tunnel Mountain!
